CURIOUS WHY WE
FOLLOW JESUS?
God, the Creator:
When God created the world, it was good. He had a perfect plan for all humanity. He made man and woman and put them in the Garden of Eden.
Man, the Sinner:
In the garden, man and woman were tempted and chose to sin against God and rebel against His perfect plan for their lives. With this sin came consequences, the removal of Adam and Eve from the garden. And from this choice, now all humanity would be born into sin.
Jesus Christ, the Savior:
Jesus, the Son of God, came to this earth as fully-God and fully-man. As God, He was born without sin and is the only one able to live a perfect life. His mission on this earth was to tell all those He knew that God, His Father, is real and that He was sent to this earth to be the Holy sacrifice. Jesus, died for our sins, and with Him death died, too. For Jesus, on the third day, rose from the grave! He took the punishment that we deserved and we can now have a relationship with God.
Our Response:
This salvation is a gift, one that we get to choose to accept or deny. God is Holy and cannot be near our sin, but He created a path, a bridge, a way for us to live for eternity with Him. To choose this eternal life, we must repent of our sin and by faith believe that Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and now wants to have a relationship with you!

In the beginning, God created everything to be perfect. There was no sickness, disease or sadness. Everything lived in peace.
Genesis 1:1
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Humanity had rebelled against God and has trusted in the lies of Satan. Sin has entered into the world and into every human heart. Everything is now distorted and broken. Everyone has become guilty of sinning against God.
Romans 3:10
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
Romans 3:19
“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.”
Jesus, who is God, came to rescue people by taking upon Himself the punishment of their sin through His life, death, and resurrection. By faith alone in Him, anyone can have their sins forgiven and enjoy eternal life with Him.
1 Peter 3:18
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:”
Galatians 1:4
“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:”
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Everything will be restored the way that it was supposed to be and those who trust in Jesus will enjoy eternity with God in the new Heaven and earth.
Revelation 21:3-4
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Everything will be restored the way that it was supposed to be and those who trust in Jesus will enjoy eternity with God in the new Heaven and earth.
Romans 10:9-11
“That is thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture faith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”
